Greetings, Brother!
Please find attached your June Notice for Robert Burns Lodge.
Before, we get to the June notice, please know that we have two opportunities to see Degree work done:
Saturday, May 30, 2026, starting at 9:00 o’clock A.M.
By dispensation, the Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft and Master Masons Degrees will be conferred upon Jonathan Robert Hoover
 
Monday, June 1, 2026, starting at 7:00 o’clock P.M
The Entered Apprentice Degree will be conferred upon Dalton Anndrew Trude
As for the June Stated Meeting, which will be held on June 18, the Worshipful Master has invited Brother Eugene McCaleb, P.M. of Eureka-West Shore Lodge No. 302, and a member of National Sojourners, to deliver a presentation entitled “The Tun Tavern.”
There will be a dinner before Lodge on the lower-level beginning at 5:45 P.M. Please make reservations by calling the Secretary at 717-317-2696 or by e-mail at secy0464@pagrandlodge.org by June 14, 2026.  The suggested contribution for dinner is $15.00.
Following the Stated Meeting, the Stewards will be serving the traditional Strawberries and Ice Cream.
For the Stated Meeting, Grand Lodge is permitting members to dress in business casual – slacks and collared shirt is acceptable (no shorts, jeans or sneakers). Officers must continue to wear tux and appropriate regalia.
Finally, as we get into summer, please know that the Lodge has planned two summer activities:
 
SUMMER PICNIC AND SENATORS BASEBALL GAME: Robert Burns Lodge will join with Perseverance Lodge No. 21 and Harrisburg-Snyder Lodge No. 629 in a Summer Picnic and Senators Baseball Game at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 18 on Harrisburg City Island. There will be limited parking passes, so we will meet at the Consistory at 4:30 for carpooling.  The cost will be $25.00 per person, and the Lodges will have two suites from which to watch the baseball game. Tickets may be reserved with payment by emailing the Worshipful Master at tvern001@comcast.net.  Tickets are available until sold out.
 
YELLOW BREECHES CREEK ANNUAL CLEANUP: On Sunday, August 9, the Yellow Breeches Watershed Association will hold their annual Yellow Breeches Creek Cleanup.  The Worshipful Master invites the Brothers of Robert Burns Lodge to bring your canoe, kayak or paddleboard and participate in a fun and rewarding day on the water.  Those who do not have a watercraft can participate by joining the ground crew to pick up bags of trash at various takeout points.  Two stretches of the Creek are targeted: Messiah University to Lower Allen Community Park, and LACP to Sheepford Road.  We will meet at 11:00 am at the Fernlawn Pavilion at Lower Allen Community Park, 4075 Lisburn Rd. in Mechanicsburg, and generally finish by 5:30 pm.  Snacks and water will be provided, as well as pizza following the cleanup.  Registration and Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) are required.  More information will be posted on ybwatershed.org/summer-cleanup.  Shawn Fabian, P.M. of Robert Burns Lodge, is currently the President of YBWA.  Let’s turn out to help Brother Fabian with this important endeavor!

Greeting, Brothers!
For the May Stated Meeting on May 21, the District Deputy Grand Master, Brother Stephen L. Kiessling Jr., will honor Robert Burns Lodge No. 464 by making his official visitation. Also, the Worshipful Master has invited Brother Felix Gardenhire, Grand Historian, Prince Hall Grand Lodge, to deliver a presentation entitled “The History of Prince Hall Masonry in Pennsylvania.”
There will not be a dinner before Lodge.
Also, if you would like to see degree conferrals, you have two opportunities.  On May 30, the Lodge will be conferring all three degrees on Saturday, May 30, starting at 9 a.m.  And, on Monday, June 1, at 7 p.m., the Lodge will be conferring the First Degree.
