A Stated Meeting of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, Free and Accepted Masons, will be held in the Masonic Temple, 2701 North Third Street, Harrisburg, Pa on, THURSDAY EVENING, November 18, 2010 at 7:00 o’clock P.M.

Action will be had on the following: 4 Candidates for Initiation and Membership

PROGRAM FOR NOVEMBER

     The Worshipful Master has asked Brother, Richard H Fogarty Senior Deacon to conduct an “Examination of a Visitor”.  Brother James R. Hepfer, Jr., P.M. Perry Lodge No. 458 will exemplify the Masonic Funeral Ritual.  The Worshipful Master has also invited 1st Sergeant Frank T. Wolkowiak, Pa National Guard, Delta Co., First Battalion of the 109th Infantry Regiment Heavy.

     There will be a dinner before Lodge on the lower level beginning at 5:45 P.M. Dinner will consist of Lasagna.   Dinner is open to all Members and their Masonic friends.  If you are planning to attend the dinner, please make reservations by calling the Secretary at (717) 652-4622 or e-mailing to saldlw@juno.com by November 14th, 2010.  Contributions will be accepted for dinner.

for conferring degrees will be held in the Masonic Temple, 2701 North Third Street, Harrisburg, Pa on,

 SATURDAY November 20, 2010 at 8:30 A.M.

     The Entered Apprentice, Fellow craft and Master Masons Degree will be conferred upon: 1 candidate by Dispensation

 MONDAY November 22, 2010 at 7:00 P.M.

     The Entered Apprentice Masons Degree will be conferred upon: 2 candidates

     The Master Masons Degree will be conferred upon: 1 candidate

 MONDAY December 6, 2010 At 7:00 P.M.

     The Entered Apprentice Masons Degree will be conferred upon: 3 candidates

     The Fellow Craft Masons Degree will be conferred upon: 1 candidate

A Special Meeting of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, Free and Accepted Masons

     This meeting is for the purpose of holding a joint Meeting with our Brethren from Prince Hall who will present a program on Prince Hall Masonry will be held in the Masonic Temple, 2701 North Third Street, Harrisburg, Pa on, WEDNESDAY, November 17, 2010  at 7:00 P.M.

     This will be a District Visitation from the other Lodges in our District and will be preceded by a dinner on the lower level beginning at 5:45 P.M.  If you are planning to attend the dinner, please make reservations by calling the Secretary at (717) 652-4622 or e-mailing to saldlw@juno.com by November 12, 2010. Masonic Charities Appeal

 The approaching holiday season holds special meanings to us as Freemasons.  Consider the good that the Masonic Charities do in helping to assist families and friends in times of need, tragedy, disaster or personal loss; the maintenance and preservation of our national and Masonic treasures at the Masonic Library and Museum; the daily needs of residents, young and old, that are met by the caring staff of the Masonic Villages; and the support and guidance our youth organizations receive through the Pennsylvania Masonic Youth Foundation..

 

If you have not already supported the Masonic Charities this holiday season, please consider doing so now. DUES ARE NOW PAYABLE!

Dues notices were sent out at the beginning of October. If you have not paid your dues for 2011, they are payable to the Secretary now

The Brethren are reminded to contact Brother George L. Williams, P.M.,   at (717) 774-4915 if you know of a Lodge Brother who is ill, hospitalized or a resident of a nursing facility. This will help the Committee on Cheer and Visitation to do their work.
