A Stated Meeting of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, Free and Accepted Masons, will be held in the Masonic Temple, 2701 North Third Street, Harrisburg, Pa on, Thursday Evening, June 20th, 2013 at 7:00 P.M.

Action will be had on one petitions for dual membership.

Program for June

 

The Worshipful Master has invited Brother Richard L. Wenner, P.M., of Steelton-Swatara Lodge No. 775, to offer a presentation titled “Duty, Honor and Fraternity.”

This month also is the Traditional month of Strawberries and the usual feast of berries will be held immediately following the close of Lodge. Plan now to attend this evening of Masonic Fellowship and be sure to invite your Masonic friends.

You are hereby requested to attend a Special Communication of the Grand Lodge to be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Rimrock Masonic Center, 900 Rimrock Drive, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 at 10:30 a.m. for the purpose of Constituting Hamilton Day Lodge No. 814.

Second Masonic District’s Day at the HersheyPark

The Second Masonic District’s Day at the HersheyPark will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013. This event is open to all Masons, Families and Friends. The deadline to obtain tickets is June 17. The cost of admission and buffet lunch is: Regular (Ages 9-54), $51; Junior/Senior (Ages 3-8 and 55-69), $46; Senior (Ages 70+), $41; and Meal only (for those who have season passes), $18. Please mail you request for the number and category of tickets you would like, along with a check made payable to “Harrisburg Masonic School of Instruction,” to:

2013 January Monthly Notice

A Stated Meeting of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, Free and Accepted Masons, will be held in the Masonic Temple, 2701 North Third Street, Harrisburg, Pa on, Thursday Evening, January 17, 2013 at 7:00 P.M.

Action will be had on the following:
RESOLVED, That Article 6, Section 6.01 be amended by striking out the words, “seventy (70)” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “eighty (80) dollars with three (3) dollars of the increase being set aside for the 150 Anniversary,” so that the Section as amended shall read “The dues of each member shall be eighty (80) dollars per annum, with three (3) dollars of the increase being set aside for the 150 Anniversary.”

Action will be had on three petitions for initiation and membership, and one petition for membership.

Program for January

The new Worshipful Master, Brother Richard H. Fogarty, begins his Masonic Year with a meeting which will be highlighted by the presentation of the Past Master’s Apron and Jewel to Brother Patrick R. Grill, P.M. To welcome all Members of Robert Burns back to Lodge, a dinner will be held before the Stated Meeting in the lower level at 5:45 p.m. Contributions for dinner will be accepted. The Worshipful Master has planned many interesting and enlightening programs as well as numerous activities for the coming year. Mark the third Thursday of each month and make definite plans to attend your Lodge Meetings and to take an active part in its activities.

The one hundred forty-third Anniversary Banquet of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, F & A M will be celebrated with a table lodge in the Ballroom of the Harrisburg Consistory Building, 2701 North Third Street, Harrisburg, Pa on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Additional information will be contained in the February Notice.

This is your last reminder that your 2013 Dues Statement was sent in a separate mailing in October.  If you have not received this special mailing, please advise the Secretary at once.  If you are a 50-Year or Life Member, you should have received your dues card in a separate mailing.  If you have not, please contact the Secretary.
