Brother Mattern grew up just south of Middletown in Dauphin County, Londonderry Township, and graduated from Lower Dauphin High School in 1984. During his senior year, he started volunteering with a local ambulance company as an Emergency Medical Technician, and eventually, Chief of the company. During this time, he also became a volunteer firefighter. In September of 1985, Brother Mattern began his career with Dauphin County Emergency Management as a 911 Dispatcher eventually becoming an Assistant Shift Supervisor. During his time with Dauphin County, he has held many certifications in his role as a Dispatcher and received his Emergency Management Professional Certification from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency. Among other honors Brother Mattern was part of a group of dispatchers that received a Special Unit Citation from the Harrisburg City Police Department for their work during a large-scale incident that involved an active shooter firing at police officers while driving around the Capitol Complex. He retired from Dauphin County on November 1, 2020, after 35 years of service.
While working full time in the 911 Center, Brother Mattern also attended the Reading Police Department Police Academy in 1992 receiving his Act-120 for Law Enforcement and graduating with the High Academic Average Award. He went to work part-time for the Hummelstown Borough Police Department for 22 years and the Lower Swatara Township Police Department for five years. He also worked part-time for Life Lion Critical Care as an Aeromedical Communications Specialist for several years. Brother Mattern is currently serving on the Hummelstown Borough Civil Service Commission and volunteers for the Hummelstown Emergency Management Agency.
Brother Mattern started his Masonic journey in April of 2006. He was Worshipful Master of Mount Lebanon Lodge No. 226 in 2011, and then, as a dual member with Brownstone Lodge No. 666 in Hershey, he was Worshipful Master in 2019. Brother Mattern is a past presiding officer of all three York Rite Bodies in Lebanon. He is a Past Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Pennsylvania 2021-2022 and currently serves as Grand Recorder. Brother Mattern is also active in the Scottish Rite in the Valley of Harrisburg where he is a Past Thrice Potent Master of the Lodge of Perfection line and received the 33° in Louisville, Kentucky in August 2023.

Brother Anthony is a Past Master of Abraham C. Treichler Lodge No. 682 of Elizabethtown, PA. He currently serves as the Co-Chairman of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania’s Committee on the Pennsylvania Academy of Masonic Knowledge and the Grand Secretary of the Grand Council of the Allied Masonic Degrees of the United States of America. He is a past presiding officer in a number of organizations and is especially involved in small, invitational and English orders of Freemasonry. Professionally, Brother Anthony is employed as a chief-of-staff with LW Consulting, Inc., a boutique consulting firm that provides compliance and risk management services in the healthcare sector.

Brother Minnich is the current treasurer of Ashlar Lodge No. 570, Lykens, where he served as Secretary for six years, and Worshipful Master in 2012 and 2013. He has also served as Worshipful Master of Pine Grove Lodge No. 409 in 2005. Brother Minnich is currently a Grand Chaplain for the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, a Puissant District Deputy Grand Master for Grand Council, Grand Chaplain for Grand Chapter of Pennsylvania, and an Associate Grand Prelate and an Honorary Past Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of KT of Pennsylvania. Brother Minnich is a 33rd Degree member of the Harrisburg Consistory in the Valley of Harrisburg and a Past Sovereign Prince of the Harrisburg Council of the Princes of Jerusalem. Brother Minnich is also a member of the Boston University Lodge under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts.

Brother Morgan was raised to the Sublime degree of a Master Mason at Euclid Lodge #698 in 1992, and went on to become Worshipful Master in 1999 prior to the merger with Robert Burns #464. A member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Harrisburg since 1993 and Coroneted a 33rd degree in Washington D.C. in 2013. A member of Zembo Shrine since 1993 serving as Potentate in 2015. A member or the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Harrisburg Forest #43 and Millersburg Forest #125. Brother Morgan is also a Trustee for Robert Burns and for the Scottish Rite Valley of Harrisburg where he has also served as Thrice Potent Master of the Harrisburg Lodge of Perfection.
