A Stated Meeting of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, Free and Accepted Masons, will be held in the Masonic Temple, 2701 North Third Street, Harrisburg, Pa on, THURSDAY EVENING, October 21, 2010 at 7:00 o’clock P.M.

Action will be had on the following: 20 Petitions for Initiation and Membership



The Worshipful Master has set aside this meeting to honor the Past Masters of Robert Burns.

They will be honored with dinner before Lodge on the lower level beginning at 5:45 P.M. The dinner will be marmalade chicken and will be opened to all members.  If you are planning to attend the dinner, please make reservations by calling the Secretary at (717) 652-4622 or e-mailing to saldlw@juno.com by October 17, 2010. Contributions will be accepted for dinner.


Extra Meetings of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, Free and Accepted Masons, for conferring degrees will be held in the Masonic Temple, 2701 North Third Street, Harrisburg, Pa on,

MONDAY October 25, 2010 at 7:00 P.M.

     One Fellow Craft Masons Degree will be conferred.

     Two Master Masons Degree will be conferred.


MONDAY November 1, 2010 At 7:00 P.M.

     One Entered Apprentice Masons Degree will be conferred.

Masonic Charities Appeal

     Several weeks ago, I mailed you a letter asking for your support of the 2010 Masonic Charities Annual Appeal.  If you have already responded with your financial support, I say “THANK YOU”. If not, I ask you to pull out the letter you recently received ands please read the material.

     The Masons have one common goal: to help each other become better men today, tomorrow and for the future.  We all come together to meet as equals, as friends and to do good for others through our manpower and money.

      You can make your donation by returning the response form attached to the letter received in the mail, along with your check, or by logging onto www.pagrandlodge.org and clicking onto the “Gift Planning” link on the left side of the page. Simply click “Online Gifts” and complete the form.  Thank you for your continued support!

     Your 2011 Dues Statement has been sent in a separate mailing.  If you have not received this special mailing, please advise the Secretary at once.

      If you are a 50 year or Life Member, you should have also received you dues card in a separate mailing.  If you have not, please contact the Secretary at once.


Grand Lodge has granted approval to the Lodges to distribute the monthly notices by e-mail.  This is a voluntary program on your part and you must give us your permission to send your Notice in this manner.  This will speed up the mailing process to you and, in the long run, save your Lodge money for printing and postage.  If you are interested in receiving your Notice in this manner, please e-mail the Secretary through our web site at secretary@robertburns464.org. granting your approval.


The Brethren are reminded to contact Brother George L. Williams, P.M. at (717) 774-4915 if you know of a Lodge Brother who is ill, hospitalized or a resident of a nursing facility.  This will help the Committee on Cheer and Visitation to do their work.
