A Stated Meeting of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, Free and Accepted Masons, will be held in the Masonic Temple, 2701 North Third Street, Harrisburg, Pa on,<\/span>\u00a0THURSDAY EVENING, June 17, 2010at 7:00 o\u2019clock P.M.<\/span><\/p>\n

Action will be had on the following:\u00a0 Action on 5 Petitions for Initiation and Membership<\/p>\n

PROGRAM FOR JUNE<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The Worshipful Master has invited Brother John D. Killian, a Member of Harrisburg Lodge No. 629 to be the speaker for June. Brother Killian will speak on \u201cThe War that Never Happened\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u00a0There will be a dinner before Lodge on the lower level beginning at 5:45 P.M. Dinner will consist of Chicken and Beef K-Bobs. Dinner is open to all Members and their Masonic friends.\u00a0 If you are planning to attend the dinner, please make reservations by calling the Secretary at (717) 652-4622 or e-mailing to\u00a0secretary@RobertBurns464.org<\/span><\/a> by June 13, 2010. Contributions will be accepted for dinner.<\/p>\n

This month is also the Traditional month of Strawberries and the usual feast of berries will be immediately following the close of Lodge.\u00a0 Plan now to attend this evening of Masonic Fellowship and be sure to invite your Masonic friends.<\/p>\n

An Extra Meeting of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, Free and Accepted Masons, for conferring degrees will be held in the Masonic Temple, 2701 North Third Street, Harrisburg, Pa on, MONDAY June 21, 2010 at 7:00 P.M.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Entered Apprentice Masons Degree will be conferred upon;\u00a03 Candidates<\/span><\/p>\n

Robert Burns Lodge will be hosting a Family Hockey Night with the Hershey Bears on a Saturday Night in October, date to be determined.\u00a0 This event will be opened to the entire family, Masons and non-Masons alike. The home schedule for the Bears should be out in June or July.\u00a0 At that time an exact date will be determined. Tickets will only be on sale for a limited time.\u00a0 If you are interested and would like to sign up for this event over the summer, please contact the Secretary or Worshipful Master leaving your contact information, preferably your e-mail address, and we will contact you as soon as a date and cost are established.\u00a0 This is an event you can bring the wife and children to and enjoy an evening of great hockey with the Bears as well as great fellowship with your Brothers and their families. It is also an event that you can introduce non-masons to the fellowship of the fraternity.<\/p>\n

Grand Lodge has granted approval to the Lodges to distribute the monthly notices by e-mail.\u00a0 This is a voluntary<\/span><\/strong> program on your part and you must give us your permission to send your Notice in this manner.\u00a0 This will speed up the mailing process to you and, in the long run, save your Lodge money for printing and postage.\u00a0 If you are interested in receiving your Notice in this manner, please e-mail the Secretary through our web site at secretary@robertburns464.org<\/a>. granting your approval.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The Brethren are reminded to contact Brother George L. Williams, P.M. at (717) 774-4915 if you know of a Lodge Brother who is ill, hospitalized or a resident of a nursing facility.\u00a0 This will help the Committee on Cheer and Visitation to do their work.<\/p>\n
