June Announcement from the Secretary and Worshipful Master

Brethren take notice – Our June Stated Meeting on the 18th as well as all Extra Meetings for June have been cancelled.

We will be having a video conference call on the 18th and Brethren are encouraged to participate if possible.

From the Worshipful Master;

Brethren,
I hope this message finds you well. Last month we hosted a “virtual” get together during our normal stated meeting. We had over 30 brethren attend the online meeting and it was well received. It was great to see and interact with everyone even if we could not be together in the same
room.
We are going to do it again during the time of our usual stated meeting in June. If you do not have access to a computer, you can still call in. Please just be prepared to let us know who you are when the meeting starts so that we can confirm you are a brother. Also, we will not be
conducting any official Masonic business during this meeting. I will be sending an e-mail to each of you with the pertinent data on how to join in the meeting.
I look forward to seeing you (or hearing from you) on Thursday, June 18th at 7:00 PM. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out if you or your family need anything.
Stay safe and we will meet again soon.
W. Bryan Hoover III
Worshipful Master

Please take note, Our 150th Anniversary Banquet has been rescheduled.
The Grand Master has advised that he will be available to attend our banquet on Tuesday, September 29th. We plan to follow the same schedule as we would have had it been held in March. There will be a Special Meeting at 4:00 P.M. to receive the Right Worshipful Grand Master who will in turn present 50, 60 and 70 year awards.
Our Banquet will begin at 6:30 sharp. If you have already submitted your reservation and payment to the secretary, they will be honored and you will be at the same table originally assigned to you and your party. If you would like to make reservations or if there are changes to your original reservations, please advise the secretary by September 1st.
Please put this date on your calendar and plan to attend your Lodge’s 150th Anniversary Banquet

To the Officers and Members of All Blue Lodges:

Due to ongoing concerns surrounding the Coronavirus, effective immediately and until further notice, I am directing any and all lodge activities be canceled, including, but not limited to: extra, special and/or stated lodge meetings; social functions; schools of instruction, etc., as well as youth group and community meetings/events that may be scheduled in your lodge building. Lodge officers may pay lodge bills in the ordinary course without lodge approval. This will be in effect until the end of April, by which time we will evaluate the situation and provide additional guidance as needed.

While it may be disappointing to cancel events, these measures are being taken out of an abundance of caution to safeguard the well-being of our brethren, their loved ones and our communities.

I also want you to be aware, that public tours of the Masonic Temple in Philadelphia have been canceled until further notice. In addition, while we are not aware of any cases at any of our Masonic Villages, we are canceling public events and limiting activities at all of our campuses, as well as screening visitors to our health care facilities.

Similarly, while we do not know of any cases within any of our Masonic youth groups, the Pennsylvania Masonic Youth Foundation is suspending all youth group activities and sponsored events at our Masonic Conference Center-Patton Campus until further notice.

Sincerely and Fraternally,
Thomas Gamon, IV
Right Worshipful Grand Master
