Message from the East
Brethren,
I am truly humbled and honored to address you for the first time as the Worshipful Master of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464.
At the Stated Meeting this month, we will have a Masonic Minute about the Knights Templar. We will also honor our newest Past Master, Derrick J. Eger P.M.
Looking forward, we will be doing some traveling this year. One of the greatest privileges we have as Master Masons is the ability to visit other Lodges. Unfortunately, too many brethren get scared off when they hear they will go through an examination. This year, I’d like to show how painless this process is by taking the exams, and letting first time visitors watch the process.
The first Lodge we will visit is Harrisburg-Snyder Lodge No. 629 on 2/5/2019. We will meet at 7:00 in the lobby.
In addition to visiting Lodges, we will be dropping in on our local youth groups. These young men and women do an amazing job with their ritual, and we should be there to support them.
I will add more posts, and calendar events, about our visitations throughout the year, so be sure to keep checking back for the latest dates.
